Am I eligible?
The first step in applying for a scholarship is determining if you reside within the boundaries of the EOF. Take a moment and review the map below to locate your residence. The map can be zoomed in or you can click on, “View Larger Map” in the lower left corner of the map for more details. This map is an approximation of the EOF boundary. Once you have determined you reside within the EOF boundary, you will need to download and complete the Scholarship Application. Click the link below to download the application.
Please note that there is one application with separate requirements for the essay and/or project section depending on if applicant will be attending a 4-year college or university (Academic Application), or for those who plan to attend a trade, vocational or technical school (Vocational Application). We have done this to better serve the different requirements and varied educational goals of our Black Forest students.
If the student is interested in furthering academic pursuits (engineering, teaching, medicine, law, science, language, etc.) then the Academic application is for him/her. If the student is interested in the technical arts or vocational sciences (computer designer, beauty/cosmetic practitioner, culinary artist, electrician, auto body or auto mechanic, etc.), then the Vocational Application is the best choice. The EOF has always supported educational opportunity for Black Forest students, no matter what their educational dream!
